Anna Monks is a curator, art historian and gallerist.

Anna works between the artist studio and the gallery, translating each for the other, guided by the belief that exhibitions are built as much on the conversations that happen in the studio as on the works that end up on the wall. An artist's ideas are best served by someone who understands both how they're made and how they're read.

Her work and experience spans exhibition making, writing, gallery sales and artist liaison, grounded in the conviction that practice and interpretation should never be too far apart.

Anna is currently undertaking doctoral research at The Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
